Burlap was never designed for beauty.
It was made for work. Utility first. Honest and durable.
Of course, it reminds us of oyster sacks iced down at the dock. But that woven texture, that weight, that earthiness? It holds its own beneath collected plates and flatware, crystal, pewter and silver, and linen.
And somehow, it becomes an even better canvas for color. Think citrus on the table. Florals spilling over. A meal full of life.
We’ve always loved burlap in all its shades. The natural tones, the softened neutrals, the deeper earthy hues. This season we’re featuring our burlap tablecloths in stores all season long, styled in different ways to show just how versatile they can be. Simple for everyday tables, or dressed up for gatherings that linger.
For us, it’s the art of contrast that makes it interesting. Raw with refined.
Grit and pearl.
