The Edit: Beads, Citrus, and Getting Outside

The Edit

What we've been drawn to lately. The things that bring texture to life.

The Edit

A few favorites:

Keep Collecting

Good beads are easy to find. You just have to keep collecting. Stay ready. We keep a bevy of beads, necklaces, and small curiosities on hand to build a look over time. African trade beads are a favorite, often strung on raffia and made of bone, resin, stone, shell, or bamboo. It's the easiest way to begin a stack you'll wear often.

To Keep On Hand

Keep a few favorites on hand so you can put something out at a moment's notice. Even while cooking dinner, or just for yourself in the middle of the day. It's worth the extra few things at the grocery. This trio always works: fruit, cheese, crackers. Try green grapes, manchego, & sea salt crackers, or sliced apple, sharp cheddar, & toasted baguette. No fuss.

Add Citrus

Lime water is nothing new, but a good reminder to keep citrus around and use it often. Lemon, lime, grapefruit. Simple additions that make a glass of water feel like something better. Poured over ice in a beautiful glass, it becomes a nice moment for yourself. Pour, squeeze, hydrate, and enjoy.

Get Outside

Getting outside at dawn and dusk is its own kind of magic. Saying hello to the day, or a moment to thank it as it slips away into the dark. The light at these hours is somehow more meaningful. "There's a quiet beauty in beginnings & endings."

Thanks for being here. We love you and appreciate what you bring to our lives every day.
